Should it become necessary to perform additional work or incur extra costs to achieve the agreed restoration standard, G’Old Atelier shall notify the Customer of the revised quotation and estimated completion timeframe. No additional work shall commence without the Customer’s express consent.
Counterfeit or Low-Quality Items
In the event that, upon inspection, G’Old Atelier determines that an item is counterfeit or manufactured from materials of insufficient quality, G’Old Atelier makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the success or outcome of the restoration process. The Customer shall be notified accordingly and may elect to proceed or decline further services. Should the Customer decline, the Customer shall be liable for all costs incurred up to that point, including a shipping and evaluation fee of 250 SEK.
Return, Disposal, and Donation of Non-Restorable Items
If, upon inspection, an item is found not to correspond with the description or condition provided at the time of contact and/or is deemed irreparable, the Customer shall be responsible for a fee of 250 SEK for either return shipping or disposal of the item. For any questions or clarifications regarding these terms, the Customer is advised to contact G’Old Atelier prior to dispatching any items.
End Result
At G’Old Atelier, we take great pride in our craftsmanship and dedication to quality. As our work is handcrafted, the final product may differ slightly from industrially manufactured items. The unique nature of our process means that each creation is distinct and cannot be directly compared to mass-produced goods. We do not provide photographs of the crafting process or unfinished products/services.
At G’Old Atelier, we specialize in restoring high-quality leather accessories. The final outcome of a restoration depends on the type and condition of the leather used in the original item. Most luxury brands source high-end leather and components from top suppliers across Europe, and our restoration work is based on addressing issues with this high-quality material.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that by confirming their order, they trust G’Old Atelier’s expertise and craftsmanship and accept the final result as the outcome of this process.
Material policy
At G’Old Atelier, we exclusively restore accessories made of fine-quality leather. We do not accept items made of plastic or synthetic materials for restoration.
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the material composition of the item before sending it to us. If, upon inspection, we determine that the item is not made of leather or otherwise unsuitable for restoration under our material policy, we will notify the customer promptly.
In such cases, the customer has the following options:
- Provide a prepaid return label for us to send the item back;
- Request us to arrange the return shipping, which will be done at a fixed cost of 250 kr with upfront payment;
- Choose to have the item disposed of responsibly at no cost;
- Donate the item to a local charity shop, which we can arrange free of charge.
Customers must confirm their preferred option upon receiving our notification.
